There are several dozen volunteers in the country (Hungary), who dedicate their lives, but at least their evenings to support street children with an opportunity to live a safe social life, and practice table-tennis at "night ping-pong clubs".
For a lot of these children a warm home and loving family is not present, and their missing is not even noticed. Their only option is to stay out in the streets, drink alcohol and use drugs.
These table tennis clubs provide shelter, food, and a safe chance to meet friends, even to settle conflicts within the limits of sport.
The story was published in PS Magazine (X. 4.) with the text of Lina Edina Farkas.
